ESCODA PALLEJÀ
We want to share the emotion we feel for the Priorat region and we have achieved this through years of effort, maintaining the vineyards and traditional viticulture.
The Celler Escoda Pallejà winery was founded in 2008, although it was created 8 years earlier, when the family decided to replant a plot of land of just over half a hectare, located in the municipality of Torroja del Priorat.
With a plantation of nearly 1,500 vines, where Grenache and Carignan predominate, and as a result of the passion and enthusiasm of the owners, Palet is born, an honest wine with character, fresh aromas and intense colour, which has been aged for 1 year in French and American oak barrels.
The winery is located on the ground floor of an old farmhouse, cal Palet (which also gives its name to our wines).
The winery consists of two floors; on the first floor, the wine is produced and aged in barrels, and on the second floor the wine is aged in the bottle and we can also find a small tasting room, where all those who wish can taste the wines.
