Description

WINEMAKING:

From old vines harvested by hand early in the morning, this unique Xarel-lo Rojo, also known as 'Cartoixà de Marina', was born. Pure Mediterranean expression of the coast of Tarragona.

100% Xarel-lo Red from old vines. Vineyards of 80 years old at 18km from the sea and 250m high. Clayey and limestone soil rich in minerals. Macerated wine with its unique pink skin. Fermented and aged for 5 months (50% in French oak barrels and 50% in hundred-year-old vats).

Light breeding with its lias.

TASTING NOTES:

The same pink skin of the variety gives this characteristic cooking colour. Aromas of ripe white fruits, mineral touches and hints of roses. A complex, fresh and unique wine.

PAIRING:

Ideal for pairing with rice and fish, but also white meat.

Serve between 7º and 9ºC.
