WINEMAKING:

The grapes were selected by hand in the vineyard and then again on the sorting table in the winery. The grapes were cold macerated on their skins for only 48 hours before spontaneous fermentation began. Low intervention, vinification carried out with indigenous yeasts. No enzymes, acidification or other adjustments (excessive fining and filtration are used). Malolactic fermentation in barrel and aged in 4,5 and 6 year old French Allier oak barrels for 12 months.

TASTING NOTES:

A truly elegant and fresh style of red wine from Priorat. Deep ruby in colour with a youthful purple hue, this wine has intense, layered aromas of black cherry, blueberry and a touch of spicy oak notes. Naturally elegant, fresh and ripe tannins, with delicious acidity and a long fruity finish.

PAIRING:

Ideal with strong cheeses, cured meats, grilled, roasted and spicy dishes.

Serve between 14º and 16º C.
