WINEMAKING:

September 2019. Grapes from the licorella dels Planassos vineyard. Manual harvest in 12 kg boxes with grape selection both in the field and in the winery to ensure maximum quality. The varieties and plots are vinified separately in 1000 litre tanks with gentle pumping over of the must to obtain a minimum extraction. The fermentation is spontaneous with indigenous yeasts from the same grape, macerations of 10 to 14 days and aged for 12 months, half in French oak barrels and half in 1000 litre capacity ceramic stoneware vats.

TASTING NOTES:

The nose is subtle with notes of delicious red and black fruits, violet blossom and aromatic herbs. It also has hints of vanilla, toast and balsamic aromas. On the palate the wine has a complexity of flavors, breadth and direction. It is an unctuous wine.

PAIRING:

Ideal with red meats and strong cheeses.

Recommended tasting temperature between 14 and 16ºC.
